Today a great view from the small town Chatham in Columbia county, New York state. The photography below was taken in april 21st 1974 at Hudson Avenue.
Considered by many the symbol of Chatham, the clock tower and a portion of the main street suffered a fire in 1869 and was rebuilt in 1872*.
The actual view from Google Street View unfortunately is not the best, due the fog and the train in front of the crossing level, but you still can compair the two different epochs of history.
